Mechanism of Action
The Ultraformer MPT is the latest generation of HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology for precise, non-surgical SMAS lifting. Highly focused ultrasound waves target the deeper layers of the skin, including the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS), stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin. The result is visibly tighter skin, improved elasticity, and more defined facial contours.
Thanks to the innovative Micro-Pulsed Technology (MPT), the Ultraformer MPT generates up to 417 coagulation points per shot—2.5 times faster than previous models. The dual motor system ensures maximum energy efficiency with minimal discomfort and optimal patient comfort.
The handpieces and cartridges of the Ultraformer MPT have been further improved: they are more powerful and ergonomic, allowing for more lines per pulse and more uniform treatment. The Ultraformer MPT offers two treatment modes: • The new Micro-Pulsed Mode (linear) provides even, gentle heating of tissue layer • The classic Normal Mode (point-by-point) delivers targeted coagulation points in deeper layers for intensive tightening effects.
Additionally, the Ultraformer MPT features an innovative Booster Cartridge, which operates at depths between 4.5 mm and 1.5 mm. In combination with the special DSB serum, the skin is optimally protected, deeply hydrated, and shielded from external influences and UV exposure through a fine barrier film during treatment. A new 2.0 mm cartridge has also been introduced, designed for sensitive areas such as the glabellar muscles, eye area, perioral region, and jawline. It helps open up the eyes, gently lift the upper lip, correct marionette lines, and refine the facial contour.
